We3 Mesa Concert reviews
Kid Rock at Riverbend 2013
Some of the songs, I've seen them played and performed the exact same way, all 10 times (for example, the whole DJ We3 bit is a little old). Would be nice to see something new. Also I hate saying this because I'm SUCH a fan, but I make this statement as this being my 10th show - We3 always puts on an AMAZING show. It was a typical We3 show. A little toned down from what I'm used to seeing (this was my 10th We3 concert). I love when he mixes his songs up with covers of old songs, or does remixes of his old songs and takes a hard song, and plays it acoustic, or something like that. However, I would like to see some new material in his concert. Lots of energy, great music, great entertainment. For the encore, he amped up the pyrotechnics that I'm used to seeing.
As a review of the venue - Riverbend - I absolutely hate this venue. The lawn is an absolute free-for-all, so I always sit in the Pavilion. The seats are super tiny. You pay more to sit in the Pavilion, but the bathrooms and concessions are further away? I don't understand that. It's not that I don't love hearing him play my favorite songs, but I'd like to see him change up the performance a bit. I have been to dozens of shows here, and I have never understood why they don't have fans or something in the Pavilion. And the parking is always a nightmare. Also, the night of this show, it was 95-100 outside. So once all those people were crammed in there, it was unbearable. It was just really hard to enjoy yourself.
